YinYasa is a fusion of Yin Yoga meets Vinyasa. The class will begin with Yin postures and then a Vinyasa, flowing series will be taught, followed by more Yin postures. Yin Yoga complements the more active/dynamic types of yoga classes. Yin poses target the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Be prepared for long holds in the postures ranging from 1-10 minutes. For this reason it is important to listen to your body and not push past your limitations.
